The ED wants to know about the endorsement deals which took place between both parties, as the app has been under its radar for a long time. This app is known for defrauding its users and also avoiding the substantial taxes.

This move is not just for 1xBet, it is to provide a crackdown on the illegal betting sites. These sites move a huge amount of money illegally. Shikhar Dhawan is not the only Indian cricketer who was questioned in this case. Recently, the name of Suresh Raina

Suresh Raina was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate for almost 8 hours related to this case. He was also investigated by the ED related to the promotional activities for this platform. This probe by the Enforcement Directorate is not just limited to the cricketers, it also extends to the companies such as Google and Meta.

Shikhar Dhawan is a former Indian cricketer who played for the team across several tournaments. Known as the Mr ICC, he has helped India to win the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, finishing the tournament with the Golden Bat.
