And now, according to reports, Mohsin Naqvi has moved the trophy to a new place in Abu Dhabi. The trophy is now in an abandoned place in the region, and is still not handed to the BCCI.

1. India vs Pakistan, Final: Asia Cup 2025

For the first time in the history of the Asia Cup, India and Pakistan faced each other in the finals. It might also be called one of the most controversial finals in the history of the game. Not because of the actions which took place during the game, but because of the actions which took place after the game.

India was able to win the toss in this crucial match and the team decided to field first. Pakistan came out and had a brilliant start with the bat. Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman had a great opening partnership, which stood till 84 runs. With Farhan losing his wicket, Saim Ayub came down to the crease.

He tried to partner with Zaman, but lost his wicket, putting the team at 113/2. At this time, the Indian bowlers decided to mark their comeback. They were quick enough to bowl out Pakistan for just 146 runs. Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets, while Bumrah, Chakravarthy, and Axar took 2 wickets each.

Chasing the target the Indian team didn't have a good start. Within the first four overs, the team lost its top order batsmen. Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for 5, while Suryakumar Yadav got out on 1. India's vice captain Shubman Gill was also unable to perform well, putting the team at the score of 20/3.

After winning the final match, the Indian team had to collect the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi, who is the ACC Chief. 3. The ACC Meeting

Taking a look at the controversy surrounding the trophy, the BCCI decided to call up a meeting for the same. The BCCI Vice president, Rajeev Shukla, is also a part of the ACC, and he presented the matter. It should be noted that the BCCI also urged other members in the ACC

In the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi apologized to all the members of the ACC for the actions which took place in the finals. Despite that, he didn't talk about giving the trophy back to the Indian team. Instead, Naqvi pulled up a demand that he would present the trophy to the team and have a photoshoot done for the same.
